When to have a well-child visit and what does it involve?
Before we talk about well-child checkup, we need to explain the range of care the Pediatrics Department provides. Our department offers medical services for newborns to adolescence (to the age of 18).
There are several significant stages of change from fetus to adult. It is divided into: fetus during pregnancy, neonatal period, which is up to four weeks after birth, infants to elementary school, and then to adolescence, and each stages of change has its own importance.
Pediatrics will help children's physical growth and functional development through all stages and help develop emotional and social skills as well as manage disease prevention and treatment to help them grow into healthy adults.

What is included in a well-child checkup?

Well-child checkup is divided into 7 stages, from 4 months to 6 years of age, and offers developmental evaluations, disease status, and information on childcare.
